I am a passionate journalist. As text-editor-in-chief of ART magazine, and before that as New York correspondent and Berlin reporter, I have been following the international cultural scene for over 30 years, reporting on artists and institutions, film festivals and biennials, but also on the underground art scene in Iran. With essays on post-humanism or gender gaps in the art world, I have initiated debates. My articles have appeared in leading media and specialist publications, including FAZ, ZEIT, taz, Stern, Vogue, KUNSTFORUM. As an expert on film and American contemporary art, I have curated exhibitions and chaired panels. I am TV-experienced, have realized video reports, speak English, Spanish and French. I am currently working on a new book about US photographer Jerry Berndt (1943-2013). I was born in Rotenburg/Fulda, Germany, and graduated with a degree in Communication and Film Studies from the Berlin University of the Arts (UDK).
